谁是NBA最强中远距离防守球员？球员中远距离防守每百回合抢断数+对位球员命中率差别！

横轴：每百回合抢断数

纵轴：对位球员中远投命中率差别（越往下对位球员命中率越低）

右下代表抢断多+防守强，说明会尝试抢断但不会失位

左下代表抢断少+防守强，说明基本不会尝试赌博式抢断

All data is from NBA.com.

NBA.com's definition for "Difference in Opoonent's FG%" is:

The difference between the normal field goal percentage of a shooter throughout the season and the field goal percentage when the defensive player is guarding the shooter. A good defensive number will be negative.

Observations:

I know steals aren't exactly indicative of perimeter defense, but I at least expected there to be a slight correlation.

I didn't expect Chalmers, Curry, Booker, or Mayo to be that good.

I expected Butler, Kawhi, Ariza, and CP3 to be better.

I'm relieved to see Harden not anywhere near the worst lol.

Even if he isn't guarding opposing PGs and is being "hidden" (lol) on some bigger player, he's still doing an incredible job of it. Think about it, a 6-3 guy is guarding a 6-5 or 6-6 SG and manages to create a 5%+ drop in perimeter FG% while creating a fair amount of turnovers; hidden or not hidden, who wouldn't take that?

——The flaw here is that it is actually change in FG%. Not total FG%. So if the best player shoots not as good as he normally does.. Then we'd see a difference.
